Terms and conditions for Hi Golf Travels

1: Organizer / Travel guarantee
Hi North AS is the organizer of the trip with responsibilities as specified below.

2: Registration / Payment
Registration must be done directly to the organizer via e-mail, message or telephone.

Registration is only binding for both parties when the order has been made via the above-mentioned channels and the deposit has been received. Once payment (a deposit of NOK 2000) has been received, the travel agreement between the parties applies, and the organizer’s conditions are valid. The organizer is then responsible for delivering the products/events you have ordered, at the same time you become financially responsible for the order. At the moment you make a booking, you also confirm that you have the authority to accept on behalf of yourself and any travel companions. You accept responsibility for payment being made to us for all travelers in your entourage. You yourself are responsible for ensuring that the reservation is in accordance with the order. As the booker, you are also obliged to ensure that the names on all documents are correct according to the passports of all travelers in your entourage. You will also be responsible for ensuring that everyone in your traveling party is kept fully informed of what has been ordered and of any changes.

3: Cancellation by the customer

Cancellation must be made in writing (by letter or e-mail). Depending on when we receive the cancellation, we refund the price of the trip minus the percentage below to cover our losses in connection with the cancellation.

Cancellation costs are settled according to the following rates:

3.1 Package tour golf trip

– More than 60 days before departure: Full refund
– 59-30 days before departure: 50% refund
– Fewer than 30 days and in case of no-show: No refund

For the return of amounts, we must have information about name, address, nationality, account number, name and address of the bank. Information about BIC/SWIFT and IBAN is required for reimbursement to bank accounts outside Norway.

4: Interruption of the trip 
If a participant must cancel an event, the organizer is not responsible for additional costs resulting from the interruption. In such cases, reference is made to the participant’s private travel insurance. The participant is also not entitled to a refund of all or part of the tour cost.

5: The organizer’s responsibility
Hi North AS is the responsible operator. The company acts on behalf of other companies and accommodations included in the tour arrangements and cannot be held responsible for anything related to the above, or delays or losses, damages, or costs due to circumstances beyond our control. We also reserve the right to, in view of the participants’ safety and comfort, adjust the tour program along the way. Tour participants must be prepared for adjustments to the program, but the organizer will try to carry out the trip as close to what is described as possible. The organizer reserves the right to use other means of transport and accommodation than stated in the program.

6: The participants responsibility 
The participant is responsible for familiarizing themselves with the program and assessing whether they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the event. The participant is obliged to report any health conditions that may be significant and, if necessary, see a doctor. The participant must bring the necessary equipment and clothing and comply with the regulations and instructions given by the organizer. Hi North AS reserves the right to refuse participation on a tour if the requirements are not met, the participant is a threat to their own safety or is a major nuisance to the other tour participants. The participant must then bear the costs of the return journey and will not receive a refund for all or part of the event. In special cases, the participant may be made liable for compensation.

7: Price changes 
It is reserved that the prices may change without notice. The trip’s price can only be changed up to 20 days before departure due to unannounced changes in public fees and taxes, transport costs or major currency changes. If the price increase amounts to more than 10% of the journey’s price, it gives the customer the right to cancel with a full refund.

8: Cancellation / program change
The organizer reserves the right to cancel any departure up to the departure date as a result of force majeure, weather conditions or similar circumstances that are beyond the organizer’s control and make the journey impossible. The organizer also reserves the right to cancel departures where the minimum number of trips is not met. Should a cancellation occur on the basis of the above conditions, the refund is limited to the amount paid by the customer to the organizer. Beyond this, the participants are not entitled to compensation.

9: Complaints and claims

If the traveler believes they have reason to complain about the event, the situation must be demonstrated along the way to Hi North AS personnel who will try to correct any errors.

Furthermore, claims or objections must be given in writing to Hi North A/S within 30 days after the incident occurred. Non-compliance in this regard may mean that the incident may affect the customer’s rights. If not otherwise included in the applicable law, the customer’s claim is time-barred if proceedings have not been started within two years after the trip ended.

If the customer believes the organizer’s answer is unreasonable, the matter can be brought before the Pakkereisenemda NRF, Postboks 2924 Solli, 0230 Oslo, within four weeks.

10: Jurisdiction and Legal Treatment
Any lawsuit against the organizer must be governed by Norwegian law. The buyer accepts the Oslo District Court as a venue.

11: Insurance
The organizer is insured through its insurance agent. We have provided a guarantee to the Travel Guarantee Fund, box 227 Sentrum, 4001 Stavanger, in accordance with the Package Travel Act.
The organizer emphasizes that participation in the company’s events is at the participants’ own risk. The organizer does not assume responsibility for the financial consequences of possible accidents/damages that may occur during the execution of the events. Members of the Norwegian Folketrygd with a residential address in Norway should have combined travel/accident insurance. Other participants are recommended to take out equivalent insurance at their place of residence. Most all-year travel insurance also includes cancellation insurance.

12: Typographical errors
Reservations are made for typographical errors on Hi North’s website or Facebook page, as well as in print or other written material.

13: Photography
As a participant in tours organized by Hi North AS, you can be photographed either by the tour leader or by other participants. These images can be used in our publications, on social media, or on our websites. If you want to make a reservation to have your photo taken, you must inform the tour leader about this, preferably when the tour starts.
